Agenda item 3 (continued)
Credentials of representatives to the sixty-third session of the General Assembly
(b) Report of the Credentials Committee (A/63/633)
The Assembly has before it a report of the Credentials Committee, document A/63/633, which contains a draft resolution recommended by the Committee in paragraph 12. The draft resolution reads as follows:
"The General Assembly,
"Having considered the report of the Credentials Committee and the recommendation contained therein,
"Approves the report of the Credentials Committee."
I now give the floor to the Chairman of the Credentials Committee, Mr. Charles Thembani Ntwaagae of Botswana.
I have the honour to draw the Assembly's attention to the report of the Credentials Committee in document A/63/633 and to report that, accordance with rule 27 of the rules of procedure of the Assembly.
The two Member States therefore join the list of Member States that appear in paragraph 5 of the report.
The General Assembly will now take a decision on the draft resolution recommended by the Credentials Committee in paragraph 12 of its report (A/63/633). The Credentials Committee adopted the draft resolution without a vote. May I take it that the Assembly wishes to do the same?
The General Assembly has thus concluded this stage of its consideration of sub-item (b) of agenda item 3.
I would like to inform Member States that the Assembly will suspend the 74th plenary meeting and will resume after the completion of the work of the Fifth Committee.
