Report of the Fifth Committee (A/58/579)
The President

The Assembly will now take action on the two draft resolutions recommended by the Fifth Committee in paragraph 7 of its report.

Draft resolution I is entitled "Second performance report for the biennium 2002-2003 on the International Criminal Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Genocide and Other Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of Rwanda and Rwandan Citizens Responsible for Genocide and Other Such Violations Committed in the Territory of Neighbouring States between 1 January and 31 December 1994".

The Fifth Committee adopted draft resolution I without a vote. May I take it that the Assembly wishes to do the same?

The draft resolution was adopted (resolution 58/252).
The President

Draft resolution II is entitled "Financing of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Genocide and Other Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of Rwanda and Rwandan Citizens Responsible for Genocide and Other Such Violations Committed in the Territory of Neighbouring States between 1 January and 31 December 1994".

The Fifth Committee adopted draft resolution II without a vote. May I take it that the Assembly wishes to do likewise?

The draft resolution was adopted (resolution 58/253).
The President

The General Assembly has thus concluded this stage of its consideration of agenda item 131.
