The Assembly will now take a decision on the draft resolution recommended by the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) in paragraph 12 of its report (A/51/596) and on the draft decision recommended by the Fourth Committee in paragraph 13 of the same report.
We turn first to the draft resolution, "Activities of foreign economic and other interests which impede the implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples in Territories under colonial domination".
