The Assembly will now take a decision on the draft resolution recommended by the First Committee in paragraph 4 of Part XVI of its report (A/51/566/Add.15).
The First Committee adopted the draft resolution, entitled "Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or To Have Indiscriminate Effects", without a vote. May I consider that the Assembly wishes to do the same?
