The Assembly will now take a decision on the three draft resolutions recommended by the Third Committee in paragraph 22 of its report and the draft decision recommended by the Third Committee in paragraph 23.
We turn first to draft resolution I, entitled "Ninth United Nations Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders". It corresponds to Third Committee document A/C.3/50/L.3.
Draft resolution I was adopted by the Third Committee.
May I take it that the Assembly wishes to do the same?

Draft resolution II, entitled "Strengthening the United Nations crime prevention and criminal justice programme, particularly its technical cooperation capacity", corresponds to Third Committee document A/C.3/50/L.15.
Draft resolution II was adopted by the Third Committee.

Draft resolution III is entitled "United Nations African Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders". It corresponds to Third Committee document A/C.3/50/L.16.
Draft resolution III was adopted by the Third Committee without a vote.
May I take it that the Assembly wishes to adopt draft resolution III?

The Assembly will now take a decision on the draft decision recommended by the Third Committee in paragraph 23 of its report.
The draft decision, entitled "Document considered by the General Assembly in connection with the question of crime prevention and criminal justice", was adopted by the Third Committee without a vote.
