The Assembly will now take a decision on the draft resolution recommended by the First Committee in paragraph 9 of its report.

The draft resolution is entitled "Comprehensive nuclear-test-ban treaty".

A separate vote has been requested on operative paragraph 2. Is there any objection to that request?

There is no objection.

I shall therefore put to the vote first operative paragraph 2.
