My delegation wishes to explain that we could not hammer out any position in the First Committee because we were awaiting instructions from our capital. Fortunately, my delegation is now ready to take action as per instructions.

The Assembly will now take a decision on the draft resolution recommended by the First Committee in paragraph 7 of its report.
We shall now begin the voting process.
