The President
The Assembly has before it two draft resolutions, draft resolution I and draft resolution II, recommended by the First Committee in paragraph 11 of its report. In order to allow review of the programme budget implications of draft resolution I, "Establishment of an African nuclear-weapon-free zone," consideration of the draft resolution is postponed to next week.
The Assembly will take a decision on draft resolution II, "The South Atlantic region as a nuclear-weapon-free zone".
